About EASE Sacramento:
EASE (Empowering, Academics, Serving, and Equipping) is a remarkable program that creates an environment where faith, education, and personal growth converge. As an alumnus of EASE, I can attest to the transformative power of attending a school where Jesus is the culture. It has truly been a privilege to have my life enriched by such an experience, and now, I am dedicated to helping others enjoy the same opportunity.
My Journey:
After leaving Capital Christian High School, where I had the best experience of my life thanks to EASE, I embarked on an incredible journey. I was fortunate enough to play Division 1 baseball for the University of Texas, fulfilling a lifelong dream. The skills, values, and connections that I developed through EASE not only helped me reach this milestone but also empowered me to walk boldly in my faith, accomplish things I never thought possible, and lay the foundation for a successful future.
Following my time at Texas, I was blessed to be selected in the MLB draft by the San Francisco Giants, where I played professionally for six years. Throughout my baseball career, the dedication instilled in me by EASE allowed me to persevere through the minor leagues, overcome challenges, and continue honing my skills. I am deeply grateful for the formative role EASE played in my journey.
The Fundraising Event:
To support EASE Sacramento, I have decided to take on the CIM marathon, scheduled for December 3rd in Sacramento. I am committed to giving my all during the race, not only with the aim of raising funds but also to inspire and encourage the up-and-coming generation.
How You Can Help:
I invite you to join me in making a difference in the lives of young students by contributing to this worthy cause. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to EASE Sacramento, providing essential funding to empower future generations.
My fundraising goal is ambitious, as I aspire to generate as much support as possible for EASE students. Additionally, I will be training rigorously, not only complete the CIM marathon but also finish with a time that qualifies me for the prestigious Boston Marathon. Together, let's strive to exceed expectations and showcase the power of our collective impact.
Conclusion:
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my fundraiser and the invaluable work of EASE Sacramento. By supporting this cause, we have the opportunity to change lives, create opportunities, and ensure that more young individuals can experience the transformative power of education rooted in faith. Let us come together as a community, demonstrate our commitment to God's army, and uplift the next generation. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a lasting difference. Together, we can accomplish great things. Thank you!
